If Rogan had turned pro at a much younger age, say early to mid twenties, and hooked up with an elite trainer, how far could Martin have gone in boxing? Which elite trainer would have brought out the best in him?
I would probably say not much difference and that is no disrespect to Rogan. He was a good solid domestic fighter who on his night was a handful for most fighters. Not sure how much better he could have been though.
Martin actually had a fine trainer in John Breen, Martin was one tough cookie and if anything, he was an over-acheiver.
Definitely overachieved and it was an absolute blast to watch his career and cheer him on. I guess I had forgotten he was trained by Breen, thanks for the reminder.
No but he has the name for it, and Joe Rogan's personality isnt that good either but hes got one of the most popular podcasts in the world.
