How far declined / shot was Brock on the night he fought Cain?

Quite substantially on both counts. This was after his illness, which I think he has now had surgery on. His had dropped and regained 40lbs during the previous year I think?

Having said that.......I think he is limited as a fighter. You cant start these things that late and be great at them.

 

well, a bunch of his guts were literally rotting and he probably had all kinds of nasty stuff leaking out into his blood stream from it as well.

i would say he was probably at less than %50.

 

Agree with this. He wasn't operating at 100% capacity, but then again he was very limited to begin with. And once he found out he couldn't hold Cain down, that was it.

 

probably quite a bit, i dont watch pro wrestling so i dont know how rough his matches were compared to other guys but those dudes take some really hard hits and injure themselves just as much, if not more than fighters with all the ridiculous acrobatics and jumping around they do. i know a couple older guys that used to do it and they both have totally ****ed up knees, shoulders and backs.

 

Look at Ken Shamrock......before WWE he was the baddest man in MMA yet after all the injuries and wear and tear from professional wrestling, he came back a shell. Professional wrestlers don't getvthe respect they deserve for being top notch athletes.

 

I imagine that his stint in the WWE left him with some lingering issues that shortened his shelf life quite a bit but what hurt him more than the diverticulitis deal and the drugs/booze/injuries from pro wrestling is the fact that he has an atrocious Chin.

 

he has a good chin, he is just a *****/not used to getting hit.

he just covers up and goes fetal even though he is still conscious.

getting hit in the face by cain and carwin like he did would put most guys out cold.

I disagree. His Chin is a disgrace to MMA as evidenced by the fact that he was clearly hurt from a grazing Carwin uppercut and was sent scurrying across the ring like a scalded dog from a half inch hook by Cain. If those punches hadn't hurt him he wouldn't have had a reason to go fetal and those punches shouldn't have hurt a professional prizefighter, bottomline. He's not as big of a Glass Jawed Joke as some of these clowns because, as you stated, he does manage to stay conscious but he's definitely China Chinned. I'd rate him at Grade AA porcelain right now but he's AAA the first time I see him completely starched.

wandy and lidell have glass chins but are not pussies, because if what happened to brock happened to them they would go for a clinch or just stay in the pocket and keep slinging leather. :bbb

 

I'm not saying he isn't a fraud and a ***** but he's a fraudulent ***** WITH a Glass Jaw because less-than-stellar punches hurt him and buckle his knees and THEN he goes running like the roid head punk he is.
