"Hurp durp he has a glass jaw"

Being the only man Carwin couldn't knock out was a pretty ****ing good achievement. The hate Brock gets is amazing, no ****ing respect whatsoever. I hope Brock recovers and he comes back, because he's actually entertaining. The way he takes someone down and just destroys them is amazing, he deserves respect. It's not his fault his stand up is ****, of course it is, there's some bad mother****ers in that heavyweight division and he's a wrestler, how often do wrestlers excel with their standup? Cain and JDS are very good on their feet, he shouldn't catch such **** for being knocked out by Cain.

Watching the fight now and Brock's standup doesn't seem as pathetic as people make it out to be, he bomb rushes Cain and lands some pretty good stuff, and a flying knee to the stomach, not to mention he takes him down. The thing is Brock hasn't hit the canvas, he loses his legs and he's obviously out of it but it's not like he gets ****ing starched like Wanderlei or Chuck.

Illness a side the fight would have gone the same way and you can not blame his illness for not like being punched in the face.

Bad guts do not make you curl up into a ball at the first sign of contact, it's a heart problem. He just didn't know what to do when being hit. I don't think he ever would have even if he didn't get ill. He overachieved in MMA due to being given a ridiculously easy ride to the title. He is exposive phisically and that is all. Not even good at wrestling which was the biggest shock of all.

He had NO easy way to the title his first fight was against Frank Mir and he destroyed him until he got caught in the leg lock but was able to revenge his loss. He beat Carwin after almost died cause of his illness. He has good stamina and incredible speed for a man of his size his chin is made of steel Carwin who knocked out Gonzaga with one single punch and Mir with few uppercuts punched him for 5 minutes and wasn't able to knock him out.

If Lesnar's internal organs weren't functioning as well as before and his physical strength had diminished,it's feasible that he wouldn't be able to take a punch as well .

They aren't taking part in a sport in the WWE though. They go to the WWE, most of them end up on loads of roids and apparently all sorts of other drugs. The WWE is not a sport so they have no standards for drugs. I thought Eddie Guerrero's autopsy came back with ped's and other things like cocaine.

There are many MMA fighters who have backgrounds in Pro Wrestling. Takada Sakuraba Mark Coleman Ken Shamrock Josh Barnett to name but a few.

And the WWE has a wellness policy. Read into it what you will but it is 'enforced'. And Eddie died of a combination of drug abuse but he had a heart defect that went unnoticed. The multiple combinations of drugs over the years may have compounded the weakness that was already present in his heart.

Well, professional wrestling has by far a harder schedule and regimen than MMA so I figure Brock has been past his prime when he started his MMA career.

Oh and guys who say "professional wrestlers don't compete in a real sport!!" Check 90% of the guys in the WWE. They played real sports (some NFL players even) yet due to injury they moved to where the money was, pro wrestling. Who can blame them?

I find it interesting that a 33 year old Fedor losing 3x in a row (including one clean KO and one ref stoppage after a BRUTAL beating) is given a free pass for being "shot" or "past his best" and now seemingly these losses don't count on his record because, well, he's Fedor. And because his age and years of competition have made him physically deteriorate.

And then we have 33 year old Brock, who is a rookie at MMA competition, who has years worth of pro-wrestling's wear and tear on his body, and oh yeah, who had just finished recovering from losing 40 pounds of muscle because of a hole in his intestine that just about ****ing KILLED him.

What was the reaction after Cain stopped him?

A chorus of Brock's a fraud, Brock never was ****, Brock was exposed again, Brock's a *****, etc etc etc. When in fact, Brock has WAY more of a case to say " Physically I am not what I was" than Fedor does. :bart

I'm not trying to put them on the same level of greatness. I'm just pointing out that most here make excuses for all of Fedor's losses, yet find every opportunity to disrespect Lesnar.

Physically Brock's main problem is that he suffered a long-term, recurring, serious illness that robbed him of his strength and size (the attributes he has based his game around his entire life), meant that he couldn't train at all for weeks/months, made him waste away, and was a real danger of killing him.

Physically Fedor's main problem seems to be that for the last couple of years, he hasn't trained hard enough. He looked fat and out of shape against Hendo, and he certainly fought like a man who knew he didn't have enough gas to fight for more than a round or two.

Yep we should show Brock the same respect he showed Mir

And you could say it was Brock's own dietary habits of ''supplements'' whilst in the WWE and penchant for red meat that made him ill. Swings & round-a-bouts
