Errol Spence I can see being a legit star after turning pro.
Diaz and Ramierez I can see being solid titlists.

They'll be good. Their style suited pros. They shouldn't be too upset with not winning anything in these shitty Olympics.

Spence looks legit, Diaz looks legit, Guasha looks like he can bomb people out, though he should move down to Middleweight. Rau'shee he'll be the black Vicente Escobedo.

****** is a KO waiting to happen, I'm afraid.

Diaz Jr. and Spence have long TV (possibly championship) futures.

Gausha's floor is Travis Walker; ceiling is Michael Grant.

I agree with that, they'll probably end up being better than our amateurs in the pro ranks which is annoying.

I haven't watched the olympics but i thought that Gausha had a good future? Is people here expecting him to strike gold?

Seeing as he has been eliminated, no  but he wasn't expected to win gold anyway.

Spence has a bright future ahead of him, Diaz Jr is also a possibility.

I could see Gausha becoming a poor man's Tavoris Cloud in the pros.

Has they're ever been a bigger gap in how well guys do in the Olympics to how well they do today? Keep in mind there are 11 weight classes so 4 medalists x 11 weight classes means 44 boxers.

1996 Atlanta, Mayweather, W. Klitschko, Tarver, Jirov. That right there makes this group by far better than any others since.

2000 Sydney, only 5 guys I recognized and by far the most significant professional career-wise has been Jermain Taylor, who won the bronze.

2004 Athens, 8 out of 44 medalists I recognize as pros and 5 of them I remember winning world titles with only 3 of them currently holding one(note that one of these guys is Rigondeaux who also was on the 2000 team and one of the 3 current beltholders is Alexander Potvetkin's WBA garbage strap.)

2008 Beijing: Deontay Wilder(bronze), James DeGale(gold), David Price(bronze). All 3 have done **** all since but are probably on their way to world title shots.

Seems more and more guys just win a bull**** medal(pitter patter hold) go back to their home countries and use the **** out of their fame to get money without ever doing anything professionally.
