How far do you think dillian whyte can go

I've always said he was the second coming.... of Chisora

 

He might hang around the lower half of the top ten the way Chisora and Arreola did for a couple of years, but his ceiling isn't any higher than that. He just doesn't have the brains or the raw athletic gifts to progress beyond gatekeeper status, and with the way he eats punches even against lower level guys I don't foresee his prime being a long one.

Of the current top ten, all the top guys beat him in a variety of ways. Parker would do a number on him and knock a couple years off his life if they fought, Ortiz scrambles his brains, and Povetkin obliterates him. Pulev likely outpoints him in a sloppy affair, and Takam completes what Chisora started. About the only guys I'd give him an outside chance of beating are Martin, Breazeale and Wilder (mostly due to Wilder's flaws than anything Whyte does especially well).

 

He's domestic level. Just doesn't know it yet, poor lad.

 

Id say hes more or less on a par with chisora as the fight between them showed.he can be competitive with pulev parker,maybe wilder but hes never gonna beat the best

 

Whyte is the type of fighter that learns his craft slowly...you guys have FORGOTTEN he hasnt even had 25 fights yet...his sole loss was to Joshua and he should start fighting opponets a bit smarter.the chisora fight he did little boxing and more brawling. He probably didnt expect to be pressed like that. Whyte vs Parker he will come to fight as usual...hes a top 5 guy practically and seeing Parker i beleive its a toss up fight.

How far could he go? He could be a mainstay top 5 guy,but as long as Wlad and Joshua stick around hes not on that level. Wilder would also be interesting if Whyte decides to switch up his stances and try out box him which im ssure he will go that route and not trade punches there.

 

Whyte opens himself up when he throws. Doing that against Parker will result in Dillian having a hard night ending in serious head trauma.

But, but, Parker went the distance with Takam, Ruiz and Cajano....Yeah, because they were all defensive and covered up for the majority of the fight.

 

Parker has the worst defense out of the top boxers in the top 10. Whyte is not at all easy to land a punch on unless he plays brawler. We dont know exactly how good pakers chin is hes not fought any legit hard puncher,we know how hard it is to hurt Whyte,because hes been in wars.

 

People shouldn't judge fighters due to their performances against Anthony Joshua, the most fighters look
like bums against AJ, but that doesn't mean that they are bums.

Dillian Whyte is still a good heavyweight and he could beat Joseph Parker on a good day.

 

Unless he plays brawler? That's all he is. He tried to box vs Allen, that went 12. He tried to box vs Chisora, then that turned into a brawl. While it was entertaining, it was pretty crude. There is no way that Dillian can outbox Parker THEREFORE he has to brawl.

 

I agree, with Matchrooms backing he could get a shot like that.

Also it would depend if you consider a title like the WBA regular a world title because I could see him picking up something like that too.

 

Whyte lost and was rocked by a shot Chisora.. Fought the usual crowd before AJ and talked himself into that fight.

Got a punch in that slightly buzzed AJ and took an uppercut that polexed him. Pretty well outboxed that night. Now compare that to the Wlad fight and you will see the difference in levels..

Post AJ he has looked very poor (against domestic level opposition) and hasn't got anyone out of there yet think he will smash out Parker???

In reality he is probs Euro level at best...

 

i guess you arent actually watching the fights.He didnt try anything he did box allen ..he out boxed everyone..the only guy he didnt try and do that with was Chisora and joshua was just too good to do anything with. Whyte is the better boxer than Parker bc he puts shots together better and has better footwork ,if he boxes he will most likely win that fight unless Parker can press him.

Theres nothing Parker brings that whyte wont be used to...on the other hand Whyte can fight orthodox or southpaw has a good gas tank for a volume puncher at 250 unlkike parker who seems to fade quickly after rnd 3 he breathing heavy,he can punch too and will have the weight advantage something that tells me Parker has trouble with bc hes been pushed back against the bigger Heavies ,some shots he gets caught with from low level journeyman who cant punch. 50/50 fight.

 

It certainly won't be the viewing audience that wins

 

Agreed,I'd say white is the puncher of the 2 also,Parker has landed clean shots on cujani takam and Ruiz and not had any of them worried,he hasn't got ko power at the top
