I have two lists , The ATG list & the Fav list! SO I try not to mix, but hell it happens! Holyfield is my favorite fighter to watch in terms of overall career, but not in my top 10 ATG list. Maybe 20. I actually have Floyd in my ATG Top 10, but not in my Fav Top 10, go figure... edit- I did a thread about Bowe being the fighter who provided the most exciting moments, but they include out of ring antics, so he isn't on my Top 10 ATG, nor Fav because Holy had so many fights I enjoyed, where Bowe had about 5 fights consisting of some crazy stuff.
Is there such a thing as a certified ATG ? ATG is such a subjective term. At least HOF (whether you agree with who's in or not) is objective in either you are in HOF or your are not.
lopez and fenech are 2 i loved watching. lopez was what jcc jr wouldve been, had he had his dads gifts. and jeff was always there to fight, he was all about his bidness. This content is protected This content is protected
I've heard a few fighters said Emanuel Augustus was one of their favorite to watch. Anybody that can throw punches while doing an entire choreographed dance routine is going to get attention, I know, I had 2 people on a greyhound bus trip once where both tapped me on the shoulder asking me who in the hell was I watching on my kindle. Drunken master!
Thx! 4got how exciting Fenech was. 1st time I saw him, he reminded me of a calmed down version of Johnny Tapia. (0ut of the ring calm) that is!!! They're similar to me in that win or lose, the other guy is going to go through hell if either Fenech or Tapia is their foe for the evening.
Some of my favs who were not ATGs have been mentioned, Gatti and Burton. I would also add Jimmy Young and Provodnikov.
