Exactly the same championship wise. He reigned over a very pathetic buch of used up fatass lazy slobs an old hobbled terrified ltheavy and an ametuer hooked on drugs. Oh yes and 1 heavyweight great who was washed up and retired for 2 yrs or more.

Frazier's biggest win was against an Ali that was off for 3 years ...so? ..Patterson's had the bum of the month club and went life and death...liston couldn't even get off the ground.. do I need to continue? See I can be like that too

I've questioned how far would he had made it if he had participated in the Olympics. He would've been fighting the same people Lennox, Bowe & company fought to get to the title.
Not being an Olympian allowed him to get a title shot when these guys were fighting for the Gold, turning pro 1988/1990.

Tyson vs Cooper, wow! Mercer, Tua , Morrison, Ibeabuchi to name a few would've been in line as opposed to names like Green, Gross, Frazier, Ratliff & co.

Technically he proved to be a bit small, and by that time Cus would have been long passed. Without Cus or even Rooney Tyson IMO would've been long beaten.
Much more about mindset for Tyson's success.
Tyson does well anytime he has Cus. Without him but has skill, & no chin. He'd be just another slugger, IMO.

Not too far. He took a decent punch. A guy who hit hard and I thought had he only had the ability to take a punch was Seldon. It was obviously mental. Mike took punches from Smith and Tucker. Had he not had a chin, those two guys might have hurt him and stopped him.

His extreme aggression was facilitated by his knowledge that he could take a punch if he had to. He relied more and more on it later on as his defense started deteriorating.

Without a chin he is less aggressive, his fights go longer, his opponents have more time and courage to hit him and he probably loses the Tillis, tucker, Thomas and Bruno fights where he got hit quite a few times.

People forget how small Tyson was, he had to get inside.
take away his chin several of his other strengths start falling in a domino effect.
No chin=less aggression=opponents fight more offensively=takes more shots=loses more fights
