By the looks of his almost effortless ko power at middleweight, how far up can he go? He is tall and could add some pounds while still maintaining power in his punches, Id say around Light Heavyweight
I think he would be able to go up to 175. Cruiserweight would be way too big as despite being tall, he isn't the biggest frame going around - if they did as I asked and moved the weight back to 190 there would be an outside chance. I don't really see him being able to carry up his tools all the way up though, the things that make him a top 160lb'er won't make him top dog at cruiser! You would have to be made to think otherwise!
Moving up could be a problem for Pavlik in terms of dealing with the speed and power of his opposition when he starts going in with opponents who are natural 168'ers and 175'ers. On offense it's debatable if he'll carry his power up, or if he'll be an effective or even devastating force like he is at 160, ect - but the main question for Pavlik is how much slower might he be once he gets up there, and how will he take getting nailed by the bigger boys. The kid has already taken a fair amount of blows at this stage in his career.
This will probaly start a **** storm, but I think that if Pavlik makes the move up to 168 correctly, he will be just as dominant as he is at 160. If and when he moves to 175, I think he'll win at least one major title, and be a serious force to reckon with. However, in that division he'll see some losses against the upper echelon. All in all I think we will ultimately remember Pavlik as a solid 3 division champion, and Hall of Fame fighter, but probably not an ATG. But, Kelly is only 26 years old, and, obviously, the jury is still out
