I just commented on this, in another thread, yesterday. He really did look faster, didn't he?

My guess would be plyometric type excercises, not PEDs, but who knows.

Canelo even showed a little defensive head movement. Not much, but more than expected. His team is doing a very good job with him. I was never even close to an ALvarez fan, but now I expect big things in the future.

-Even if he gets demolished by a Pirog or a triple whatever, he'll probably just learn from that & come back better the next time. Lots of years left ...

Are there any "credible" rumors yet as to Canelo's next opponent?

He doesn't have blinding hand speed but loads on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th shot as fast as anyone in his weight neighborhood. On the upside he has excellent timing and very good punch selection, on the downside his first shots are not as fast, neither his ability to pick up shots with his gloves. It'd be interesting to see what he can do if a Hatton or Ward type takes away his combination skills and reduces him to single shots.
