I love runners. Pep, Whitaker, Ali, Mayweather. C'mon Mayweather, run all night.

ESB fans are dumb, the faster you can run a mile time the more athletic you'll be in the ring for longer. You better believe Hatton and Floyd have good mile times. DUMB ASSES

**** I bet he couldn't run even a mile, even my pitbull dog could beat Floyd in a treadmill. PBF could only **** run in the ring.

I heard they are using a stopwatch instead of a bell in this fight. The bookies are paying out on how quickly Hatton can catch him.

anyone that can run a 6 min mile is a very strong individual , it take some grade A leg strength to sustain that speed and out put.

I'm pretty sure I can do a 7 minute mile, and I'm hardly Mr. Runner/Mayweather.

That would be impressive. Keeping up 6 minute miles over the course of 5-9 miles requires insane fitness.

I'm actually surprised at how slow those times are, with all of Mayweathers high pace skipping I would of thought he'd be getting low 5 minute miles.

I too wonder what kind of pace he keeps over 4 miles or so.

I do different exercises everyday, but also smoke everyday and manage 6:32 on the mile, 4 miles in 22:13, and 100m in 13.09.

Are you sure or are you guessing, because for average person in good condition its 8 to 9 mins .. 6 and 7 is hard for me to believe floyd can do it.

6 minute miles is a 2:40 marathon, there are thousands of recreational runners who can run a 2:40 marathon. I used to run at that pace for 13 miles without breathing hard. Nothing special. Bruce Lee used to run at 6 min/mile pace as a warmup to his real cardio training. I am sure Floyd can run faster than that for a single mile. For long distances, he is too muscular now, but at 400m/800m he would probably be vey good.

I'm guessing on the basis that I put about 70% effort into my morning runs, which are about a mile in length over uneven ground. At the top athletic level, you can find people who can do a mile in 3-4 minutes. The mile in a minute barrier has been broken for what, about half a century?

Ture it has been broken but by world class athletes that train to make that mark.. but for someone to do that naturally and with out training is pretty slim, that like waking out of bed and being able to Bench 700lb sure its been done but by some pretty special people.
