Prefight, do they talk about the possibility of being hurt by the opponent, like how to survive a round in which the opponent rocks you, or just simply ignore the possibility for comfidence purpose? Just curious about the mental approach.
I've had teammates that were hurt really bad (and I'm 100% sure that our trainer knew what was going to happen) and the trainer never said **** about that. The very first time it happened, I learnt no to trust my trainer, btw. Trainers usually have "hidden interests", at least at not top level of competition (Hey, buddy, I'll feed your boy if you feed mine). That's my experience, sorry if that bothers anyone. I understand that not every trainer are the same.
