How frightening of a beating would Floyd have given Oscar if the rematch happened?

Floyd doesn't give out beatings above 130 unless it's to fundamentally flawed fighters like Hatton or Gatti, and even then he needs the advantage of fighting them at a bad weight for them. Floyd could never give Oscar a beating because Oscar is physically stronger than him, and Oscar would not leave himself wide open like Hatton did. If they had rematched in Sept '08, Floyd would have boxed on his bike and took a clearer decision than he got last time. If Floyd ever met the Oscar of the late 90s... different story entirely.

Floyd hasn't beating anybody 'frighteningly' since maybe Ndou....which wasn't very frightening until the last round. Anyways anyone who can sit here with a straight face and tell me Oscar beat Floyd is completely deluded LOL. Floyd would've definitely made even easier work of him in a rematch but there would be nothing 'frightening' about it

Based on Floyd beating a blown up Mexican who jumped into a weightclass he never fought at before in the later years of his career?

I believe Floyd would have dominated a rematch even worse than the first fight. I doubt he would stop him like Manny. Floyd does not have the style to stop a guy like Oscar. I believe Oscar was drained for Manny but Manny had the aggressive style to stop Oscar. I think Floyd would still take a drained Oscar 12

Aside from Gatti, when was the last time Floyd gave someone a "frightening of a beating"?

Floyd doesnt beat people up, he plays 'tag' and his fans call its the "sweet science".

Ridiculous thread. Mayweather backed out from a rematch. Oscar looked
too good in his preparatory fight against Forbes. The only reason Oscar
did not win against Mayweather was because he stopped using his jab.
Oscar was winning easy while using his jab. I am sure that in a rematch he would have corrected this mistake as he showed against Forbes. Mayweather has no power to stop DLH. He won a split decision and then backed out from a rematch. What a ridiculous thread !
