How funny is it that the 160 "champ" could drain the 154 champ

Thought it was a joke when Mayweather did it, it'll be twice the joke if the middleweight champ does it lol.

Why would Cotto want a 155 catchweight when he weighed in under 154 for Geale?

I hope Cotto don't try to insist on a catchweight for Canelo.

Alvarez hasn't had a single fight at 154 since his fight with Mayweather in 2013. That said, does he hold any title at 154 to be considered "champ"?. Idiot.

Do it at 154 and vacate the belt. Don't make the 2nd biggest fight of the year a one pound above an actual division farce.

Higher limit favors Canelo in this fight, I'd be surprised if it's over 156 lb.

How much difference does one pound really make? Its debatable.

A better deal for Cotto is Canelo can not weight above 170 pounds on fight night because Cotto will be at 154.

Could say he doesn't fight at MW (When really he has anyway for his last 3), but the guy weighs 170lb fight night. He's a MW who's draining himself down massively imo.

It would suit Canelo big time to have the fight at 160, since he'd only have to drop 10lb of water weight in place of the 20lbs he's dropped in the past.
