He's sort of like a cross between Roy Jones Junior and Lenox Lewis. I haven't seen footwork as graceful as his since Kevin McBride.

Where u from? Why u ask?

He's pretty tough and bangs a bit. Besides that, he has nothing and will be nothing on the world scene.

He is just a professional athlete who would have done well at any sport where his physicality comes into it.

He has come along a bit but he cant even make it out of the Australian domestic circuit which says something.

he is a tough ******* but due to starting his boxing career at about 30 years of age his skill level will always be lacking. but he has as much power as any heavyweight going around so he may be lucky to take out some higher ranked boxers.

he hasn't made it out of the aussie scene bexause he is only new to the sport.

he is realistic though as he has openly expressed his limited experience and has said his is prepared to put in the hard yards and is not afraid to take the neccessary steps to gain the experience he needs.

he may not go far but his opponents will enter the ring knowing he won't back down and he has the power to cause some damage.

That's just it though, almost all world champions will have been 'putting in the hard yards' since a very early age, there are not many exceptions. There is nothing you can do to properly make up for missing out on ~20 years of boxing experience, all he can do is get in shape, learn a bit and hope that a big punch can win him the odd fight - I don't think anyone can realistically expect him to be able to hold his own regularly against even the fringe contenders.

    He's poor.

I was at the fight where he won his Australian title, and it was poor (quality wise). For a guy new to boxing, he has alot of grit, and put in a fantastic effort, but his punches are incredibly wide. Virtually just swings roundarm.

Hits hard though. LIke somebody else said, he's just a very tough bloke who probably could have been a pro in any physical sport due to his natural sporting ability.

Any half decent fighter than can defend and punch straight would give him trouble.

it will be interesting though to see how far he does go. he may not win a world title but i wonder how much further he can improve his skill level. if he can improve more he may ko someone quite high in the rankings. especially if they don't treat him as a serious threat once in the ring.

He is an ex-rugby player, shamed for poking opposing players up the ass.
