How good a boxing analyst are you, out of 10?

Well if you're a long time Calzaghe fan, you wanted it to happen more than anything.

PacD is a big ****in' zero, seriously. His fight layout's are always incorrect and he's done some ridiculous ones at that.

His fight layout for Donaire-Darchinyan was incorrect and he didn't even call the winner, he just said 'Donaire has a good chance', and said it would be by UD at that, not by KO.

Bigtime9 has more knowledge than PacD....

His method of picking fights involves 1) determining which fighter has the most in common stylistically to Pacquiao and 2) viewing/analyzing facial expressions.

He also takes the personal conversations that he has with them into his analysis, to see if they are confident if they can win or not...

If the fighter happens to be a Pinoy, he wins by default.;)

There were 16 weeks total, so if he averaged around 65 lets say, that would come out to 1040.

I'm trying to defend my title in lbarrow's prediction league from last year, but in December, I said it was unlikely I repeat considering all of the fine predictors here and how with the little fights, a lot of times it comes down to luck.

He said 'I smell an upset, good possibility, Donaire UD'.

And he said that part of the reason he thinks Donaire could win is because Donaire looked fast on the dance floor of a club and that Donaire told PacD personally that he thought he would win.

Sounds like a brilliant sporting analyst there, give a big 9/10, one notch under the flawless, unbeatable, legendary, emotionless & all knowing Magnum.:good

Who did Magnum pick between Taylor and Pavlik in September?

Man, he'd have scored straight 100's some weeks, I swear, this guy was incredible and I haven't spoken to him since about November sadly, I hope he's all right, he was planning on turning pro, good fighter also.

But I mean, he did 1 week and scored a 75, the highest that I scored in 1 week was 85, I averaged about 45-50 I am assuming.

It's very likely that he'd have ended up with around 1500 and we'd all be below 1000, that's how proficient this guy was. He called Forrest TKO 10 over Picirillo for example, 1 round off, I called Forrest TKO 7 was it and argued that Picirillo wasn't durable enough and he told me Picirillo would hold and run and try to survive and that Forrest would get frustrated and get in his ass late....

    :p

    Remember the fight well?:yep

I rated myself a 7 but after seeing all the good posters being humbled and rating themselves so low and seeing guys like Blocky and PacDBest rating themselves a 9 or 10 I wanna change my vote to a 1.

Magnum picked Taylor actually, but called a Taylor early KO.

Hs layout was that if Taylor used his jab and committed to his shots, then he'd starch Pavlik early and that if he couldn't KO him, that he'd be landing jabs that snapped Pavlik's head back with quick work in the center and stealing rounds for the judges, but that if Taylor didn't pace himself, then he favoured Pavlik by KO.

But his official call was 'Taylor TKO 3' and I tell you what, when Taylor nearly took that guy out in the 2nd.... I thought 'oh man...'.

There's an example of the incorrect winner, but an insight none of us saw, he nearly got an amazing pick correct there.

    Let's see here -

You had Kessler over Calzaghe by KO, Hopkins over Calzaghe by KO.

And you have Donaire KOing Mijares, Linares KOing Gamboa is it and Guzman getting his **** ****ed up by Pac was it?

Basically, any of my favourite's, you pick against.
