considering the last 10 major fights i predicted 9 of them correctly, and 5 of those exactly right to the round, id give myself a 9

KG0208 as always with some brilliant posts.

The biggest problem with this thread, IS THE F*CKING CRITERIA. Its non-existent.

If it had been clarifyed more, half the arguements could have been avoided.

You haven't assigned the numbers any particular meaning, other then the obvious of high meaning good, low meaning bad. So people chose accordingly.

As it seems, both you and Amsterdam were in the minority with your particular (and unsuprisngly) EXTREME version of the scale.

Regardless, no one is right or wrong in this case, because the criteria was not specific enough.

The only person to really blame is the thread starter;)

You were trying to persuade people though... You clearly made a comment to Sweet Pea, claiming a HEAP of false quotes on my behalf that i have never posted. You then made comments, which insinuated that i was to far beneath you to be taken seriously. The comments were on a public forum thread where anyone would read them, so obviously other people reading them would be influenced by them.

If you think blatantly lying is an Aussie sense of humour, you need to have a good long hard look at yourself.

The thing was, you never backed it up, and i could back it up and offered to. I know what i have posted, where as you were merely targeting me, probably for disagreeing with you in a prior thread.

I honestly don't care, i'm not a grudge holder, although clearly its still bothering you enough for you to bring this up AGAIN. I've caught you out in situations like this in the past as well, and your personal reaction is to not back up your statements, and to choose instead to leave the thread alone.

It was a **** thing to do, and i called you out on it. Nothing personal, i would do the same to anyone. I don't dislike you for it at all, but i wasn't going to pretend like you didn't do it either.

You could at least have the balls to admit you were wrong.

This is a BAD day... Because i disagree with your personal criteria in analyzing posters:lol:

Sorry dude, that has NOTHING to do with boxing.

Anyway, lets not get personal here, i like the idea of this thread, dont' agree with the way it was implemented. Enough said.

Bascially it's all for nothing anyway. The only guy that every schooled me about anything was Cross_Trainer, and that was about how jabs were described in old-school boxing manuals. I never been battered by anyone else because I'm strong on the stuff i'm good at and don't get involved with the stuff i'm not. I read and learn instead.

So, the point is, I rarely bump heads with other top posters in a meaningful way, which is when you find out about what they really, really know. The ones I have bumped heads with and learned from know who they are, but I wouldn't asign one a number setting him apart from another one. Is Sues2nd better than MSTR? My answer is, sometimes.

You know who the quality posters are and you know who the dipshits are, and if you don't, that means you're one of the dipshits. But who is "best" will change according to the day and the subject. Especially the subject.

Sweet Pea, mcgrain, kg, acb, amsty (despite declaring some boxers as 'gods'), brooklyn those guys are ****in' A when it comes to boxing analysis. IMO they are either 9 or 10 when it comes to boxing knowledge and deductions

    PacdBest is 1
