this is the same scale i used when rating myself, but again, this is only for the dozen or so fighters that i enjoy watching and actively study. by my scale any dumbass who new nothing of boxing could rate a 5 easily since he has a 50/50 chance of being right every time.

Boxing is a sport you are always learning about. Since I didn't like school I rate myself a -1

Great post. Exactly.... It reminds me of a childs deluded fantasy, imagining these "super analysts" who cannot be faulted. I see the top boxing minds make wrong predictions all the time. As i said before, reality around this place is slipping very fast.

hahaha... okay mate. Go back through my posts if you want. I dont' run around targeting anyone. I will comment when people make good posts, without bias, and do the same when they say ridiculous things as well. The difference between myself and others here, is that i'm not a kiss arse. I just come here to talk boxing, honestly with everyone. Not to try and be in some inner ESB circle like some. I've got real friends, i don't need to try and make something of myself in an online forum. Think what you want, your entitled to your opinion. I just hope you realise that making comments like the one above, is extremely hypocritical considering the melodramatic way you have behaved on the boards in recent times.

i would probably give myself a 6. i've been following boxing closely since the early 80's so i've developed a very good appreciation for it through the years.

    Shieeeet . . . too long of a litany. What happened?

Can't agree on who is Nostradamus here? :D

Anyway . . . I came back to this thread to correct my original rating. I said above average and yet I rated myself 4?$#% Well that's thinking that the best is 1.

So correctly I'm rating myself 6 if 10 is the best. :yep

If im familiar with both fighters fighting im a pretty good judge of what will happen. If Im not familiar with both or one of them then it's just guessing really.
