:huh I'm wondering. He has a charge with a questionable chin. He's gearing up his other for a fight with a defensive mastermind. His prime fighters are really offensive wizards. How good is Roach at training his fighters in the art of the duck-n-slip?
Im still going to question Pacquiaos chin until he takes a solid check left hook flush on the chin by Floyd. Until then, imo his chin still hasnt been tested. Anyways, Pacs defence will never be good enough to avoid Mayweather. In & out defence just aint good enough to avoid Floyds hooks & right hands. Pac is pure offense and will never have faced so many problems come March 13th. He is way out of his depth on this one. Theres only so much defence a fighter can be taught when A) The fighter is pure offense and B) The trainer is not a defence first trainer.
Pac took a number of flush hits from Cotto, a stronger hitter then Mayweather, so how is he untested. I mean if Cotto's hits could barely phase him what makes you think Money could hurt him. This isn't to say he'll definitely beat Maywather just that Money isn't going to knock him out.
If Floyd gets beat and didnt land those "check hooks", you'd still be questioning that chin. Floyd's chin is a lot more questionable technically. Atleast Pac has taken flush shots from much bigger opponents, and he hasnt been broken yet. Bar his teenage years.
So I think we can all agree on the highlighted point, yes? Freddie Roach does not have the credentials to train as a defensive tactician?
Pac's defense is one of the most underrated aspects of his game. He does see shots coming and can block, duck, slip and counter very well. This content is protected
Look how wide Marquez hook is. Anybody could of got under that shot. That is not impressive at all. Marquez seen the counter punch coming back and was braced for it. Floyd throws a check hook. You insert a check hook in that equation and Manny gets caught right on the ****ing chin not seeing it coming.
