    Obviously not very good otherwise he would of made it with his father's connections but one helluva of a coach

    He was a good amateur and was well regarded. I think he consciously elected to go into coaching. Perhaps knowing how hard his dad's fights were played a part.

    Wow, I never knew how good he was. Seemed young at the time as well.

    Slightly off topic but does anyone know what happened to Barry Mcguigan's Cyclone Promotion? I know that had Frampton and Taylor once upon a time.

    I think losing those 2 hurt cyclone badly, it's a pity as they would have got the sky deal and would of smashed it .

    Maybe he saw how much his dad was charging him and decided he’d rather earn that bag than fight! He is a great coach though to be fair to him

    Cyclone would have made it if Barry kept having a monopoly out there. But the Kinehans came in throwing too much money around.

    it does make you wonder how much ££££ they were paying people, and how accurate our own moral compass would have been if we were in the same position. In theory I'd have rejected it and refused....but in theory I suspect they all would.

    Genuinely what type of figures are we talking about here ?
    It must of been bucketloads if that many jumped ship ?
    Also , Can all the rumors on the mcguigans be wrong tho ?
