Justing thinking about Henry Armstrong's defense at welter, and his attempt at the middleweight title....against the fighter who originally used the bolo punch...How powerful was Garcia considered to be?

Yeah a middleweight champ that got a gift against a featherweight needs to be in the hall of fame, while fighters like donald curry and michael nunn are left out, haha.

That was not just other featherweight, that was Armstrong. I suppose we should boot, Ross, Ambers, and Angott out of the hall because they lost to a featherweight(Armstrong)

    Henry was on a role.

Those men were lightweights, not middleweights.

Garcia fought and beat some very notable fighters such as Lloyd Marshall and Fred Apostoli...It's easy to see why Armstrong and Barney Ross as well, are held in such high regard. Opinions? Regarding the punching prowess of Garcia?
