How good a trainer is Robert Garcia?

Very good trainer.

 

He's done a good job with Gradovich. Not so sure about Rios.

People give their father credit for training Mikey. Is that true?

Awful for Rios.......But thats because Rios is an autistic moron.

 

Maidana and maybe Gradovich are the only guys I've seen make improvements with him. The lion's share of his credit comes from Mikey and Nonito, but they're both pretty much naturals and the latter has scarcely ever spent much time with him. Everyone else who has left for him in recent years has hardly improved at all. I also hold it against him that so many of his guys come in heavy.

 

In terms of training fighters he's a very good trainer. He's also a decent game planner.

 

Hype Job more than anything. Roger Mayweather is the best trainer.

 

all his fighters are good.. they all get big fights n win most of them

n for those sayin he didnt do well with rios is wrong.
rios at heart only knows how to fight one way.
u can teach him how to add more to his boxing game.
but hes says screw all that n chooses to always fight crazy come forward block with your head type fighter.

Good fighter , good trainer, but you do need something to work with.

I double Dundee could do anything with Rios, he is total **** for brains.

 

If he and Maidana pull out a win Saturday he's the candidate for trainer of the year!

Hey that was before Garcia ,but I still don't expect him to won but he does come on now .

 

He was a decent fighter (2 time world champ..?) and i think he is a good trainer.
People using Rios as an example of how Garcia is no good is just stupid....
As someone else stated, even Dundee wouldn't be able to do **** with Bam Bam.
