No i'm not a wimp ! My nose is very tender at the moment (not broken). It's either protect it for a few weeks or not spar at all. Not very.... The headguards are needed to reduce eye injuries which are much more common that broken noses.
Face savers are good but they will interfere with your breathing. This content is protected This is the best for overall protection and allowing you to breathe the way you'll need to breathe. BTW, Mexican style headgear is my preferred headgear. It protects your nose and eyes and allows you to breathe but your jaw is uncovered.
