Fighting for the English title tonight against joe hughes which I expect him to win. (interesting to find out that one of joe hughes' arms is 2 n half inch shorter than the other) I'd then like to see him in against john wayne hibbert or tyrone nurse. British champ by the end of the year?
Very good I'd say! Says a lot about your capabilities when Floyd Mayweather invites you out to spar for prep for his biggest fight ever..! Yeh he has also looked impressive every time I've seen him too! Blackledge for a rare stoppage tonight too! Working on power quite a lot, expect a vastly improved fighter from the already impressive Markham win!
I'd say he is a must for the British, provided Cal Smith vacates as expected... Against who, I'd like to see a return against fielding but I know won't happen due to the Harrison / matvienko link.. Failing that I'd say he has the beating of Brophy, already beat Markham & Cameron so maybe Smyle.... A lot rave about Cox, but he's done nothing & is suspended anyway, but if see Luke out hustling JC anyway... Brophy be most likely I'd say....
Nah he's suspended for his recent conviction, I don't buy the hype around cox, all he's done is stop useless plums. Think Luke would give him kittens & out work him. Cox talks like he's GGG lately...!
His fans on twitter are even worse, saying he'd beat every world champ. Blackledge vs brophy would be good. But i think brophy will go back to fighting journeymen
There talking about vijender singh vs blackledge over in delhi. Personally i think luke should swerve it, as he'll definitely get the ****s. Them curries in india are different to the ones in blackburn. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-yq9uXWAfzs
I haven't been impressed with Jack Catterall throughout his career, the hype he got for beating Tom Stalker was crazy and since then he hasn't done anything special. Last night he was in against a one handed fighter but was getting caught very easily by Joe Hughes with his left hook, why didn't Lee Beard just tell him to move to his left and all of those hooks would have missed wildly. Him vs the winner of Tyrone Nurse vs Willie Limond will tell us more because neither Tyrone or Willie are above domestic level and if he doesn't beat them pretty easily then we could assume he is a domestic level fighter, if he blows them away then i would start buying into the hype.
Looking at how easily he continually got caught with the left hook last night against someone who hardly threw a right hand I think he'll get caught out big time when he steps up. He looked gone after 9/10 rounds aswell and if it was a 15 rounder would have fancied Hughes to stop him.
