How good can Jack Catterall be?

World title contender probably. His power isn't as good as people make out, against Joe Hughes and a few journeymen he's been drawn into brawls and at times struggled against Stalker, especially in the mid rounds.
He looked open to left hands and hooks which may prove a problem. He was fortunate Joe Hughes isn't a banger.
His hand speed is a little above average and he looks durable, but he's in a tough division especially at the upper echlons, he needs another 6-7 good wins until he can think of being in world title contention.
Would like to see him beat Tyrone Nurse and go against Robbie Davis at some point.

 

I think Nurse beats Catterall easy.

 

Like nearly every single FW fighter of recent years he is painfully overrated.

 

Maybe not easily pal but imo he does beat him at the minute, he's busier and can adapt better. I see Tyrone beating Willie Limond later this month too but would love it if Willie can bring the title back to Scotland.

He should have a non title fight in Delhi in July on the Singh card against an opponent who would make him look good

This would set up a mega Singh Commonwealth title defence in the Autumn

I wasn't really impressed with him on Friday to be honest.

He looks British level. Difficult to tell if he will progress to be anything more than that.

 

Thought Cox went down? Or is he out already?
