So stepping in last minute a full two weight
No khan bull**** 155 claiming the two weight jump
Ain't daring to be great against ggg

It’s not like Brook is a natural 126lb fighter he walks round at 170. Still ballsy for him to do it especially fighting GGG but nobody thought he would win it was simply a payday.

TBF, I think Kell would have been top 10 at MW at that time. He did better than Proksa and Macklin against GGG.

Another boxer who looked good when he was younger and can make the lower weight. As he aged the weight cut took its toll but that is on him for trying to fight lower than he should.

I actually think Brook got damaged on both sides of his face vs GGG, but the focus was on the obviously damaged side. Its kind of strange suddenly having both eye sockets broke in consecutive fights. All this eye socket stuff happend after the hammering he took from GGG. His fight with GGG might have been like a car incident for his face.

I remember reading an article at the time, that Brook said he walked around at 190lbs, so coming down to 160lbs would mean he don't have to cut as much weight. He said he always felt great sparring while at 160lbs.

Was incredible atmosphere and great to see GGG in the flesh, watching him just walk through Brook, stalking him constantly was great. Brook put up a fight early on but couldn’t handle the pressure/power of GGG.

That wasn't prime Shawn Porter that Brook beat.

Shawn Porter got a lot better over the years.

The best version of Shawn Porter was against Errol Spence

Brook accomplished as much as he was gonna accomplish. Some times (most times) where guys peak was as good as they were gonna get, they weren't gonna accomplish any more than the actually did, they weren't meant to. This is Brook. His best win was his very close win vs. Porter and it remains a quality win. I don't think he would've ever beaten 15-19 Keith Thurman though.

Personally I think it took way too long for him to actually try and fight a world level fighter he was fighting scrubs for a long long time when everyone was waiting for him to step up probably why he was over and done with so quickly

Kell wouldve been neck and neck w Spence but lost to Bud. Kell beats Thurman, Porter, and Danny. At worst Kell is 3rd best WW of era, maybe 2nd

What "had ggg done" exactly?, explode into arenas as a 100/1 favorite against bums while calling out smaller opponents for paydays?
