take any 10 year span during your life....would you become champ?contender? tomato can?

speaking for myself i think i'd never have amounted to anything more than a tomato can. i like to think i was better than the little talent i had but truth be told i was never much of a fighter

Maybe a decent journeyman like Ray Olivara or Robert Hawkins.

I think I would have been alright.

I was only boxing for about 3 months but I had some of the best power in my boxing class and I was only 5'4" compared to other classmates there that were like 6'2" and ****. Whenever I use to hit the pads it was ****en loud. That was when I was 17 now i'm 20. I have very nice speed as well, I think I would have been a pretty good boxer to be honest I would just need to get my conditioning up to par.

I have good jaw and somewhat decent punch. My hand speed is weird though. Above average when I throw single shot but ****ing slow in combinations. I also had good balance. Little accuracy. I was crafty and **** but m y main problem was stamina, I have shitty one. Yeah and glass liver.

My left crunkercut to the jejunum would've made me the GOAT as far as D classers go.

I was going to say "I'd have finally given Eric Crumble his first win", that's scary, TBooze ;)

Crumble by name, crumble by nature.

I still want to compete in amateur or white collar boxing. I'm still of age, 6'2", 81' tip-to-tip reach, and I can float around 160 to 175 depending on my conditioning. On top of all that, and trust me I've tried to develop an orthodox stance, I'm a southpaw.

I still jog(in construction boots)/shadowbox(4 to 15 rounds)/heavy bag(4 to 15 rounds) every day. I've only sparred with two guys. One, I cut the hell out of his cheek (right at the cheekbone) and he quit. The other, he laughed at me cause he had 6 years exp, but tired himself out trying to get inside my reach. I've been told I'm fast, but lack mechanics on the hook because of my long arms (they come out all awkward).

I've always thought that anybody with the will and tools can take the stage. I'm no exception. I think growing up in a middle class family steered me away from boxing. Had I the proper chance? I bet I'd be pretty damn good, but I'd never amount to more then a gatekeeper (just a notch above journeyman).
