I heard many people shaming him and his dirty style, but yet,I somehow had a love-hate relationship with his style, he's cheap and can be kinda boring, but yet it's not like I can't really stand watching his matches or such like Ernie Terrell.

Either way,he should've been quite crafty or got some foul connections to literally be the oldest light flyweight champ.

Hmm, not very good, I am surprised he is being talked here... the fight with that phillipine guy was a terrible display. He was a poor man, little version of John Ruiz

He's like Vito Antuofermo if you remove Freddie Brown from his corner, absolute chaos.

I only followed him in the late stage of his career - but that was also when He was most successfull, finally winning the title and defending it couple times.
He was a bit of a local attraction in Buenos Aires. He was able to bring over first reigning champion Tamara and then quite popular Ulises Solis over to Argentina - and the crowd was always very lively, raucous (Which eventually crossed the line when He fought Casimero).

I kind of liked Lazarte. He was not great. He was small even for his weight-class, very unathlethic and crude - but was smart from tactical stand-point. He was trying to slow the pace down and steal rounds and was pretty good at it.
He beat Tamara fair and square - and Carlso was coming off a huge win over Viloria. First Solis fight was a bit of a home-cooking, but it was pretty close too. Not a bad results, performances considering his limitations.
