Yeah but you asked the question. So how was he doing career wise before he fought Proksa in NY?

What you going on about :huh.
I asked opinions How good has it been for Golovkin to base himself in America?
We havent seen where his career would have been based anywhere else because it hasnt happened at the same stage.
If you want to ask a completely irrelevant seperate question start another thread.
I would guess that if he was in Germany at the same stage that he would have got some big fights, but we wont know. It hasnt happened much whilst based in America, so the question is, has it been good for him with what he has done not a hypothetical question of if :patsch

You can sing that "we won't know" **** if you want, but we all know that he wasn't going to ever get any big fights where he was at before he fought let alone based himself in America. He's made more of a splash here SINCE he came to America so the answer is of course it was a good move. :patsch

Why do I have to explain something that we all know. This isn't about American comp. He's fought American fighters and fighters outside of America IN America. Explain what, lmao!!!??? His career isn't over, lmao. He's still waiting for a big fight and has hype. More hype than he had before he fought Proksa. WTF...

My bad dun. You're smarter than us. I thought that I was answering this:

"How good has it been for Golovkin to base himself in America?

He hasnt really managed to get top level opposition as of yet and arguably his best opponents have been Macklin, Murray, Geale, Lemieux, Proksa where none of which are American.

There are/were some good match ups that have either passed him by, havent happened, dont seem to be happening or lost a bit of the glamour in Quillin, Jacobs, Cotto, Martinez, Canelo, Njikam and there are big match ups if Golovkin can get them also in Saunders, Eubank Jnr

From what I have read, I dont think alot of this is down to Golovkin

So has it been a good move for Golovkin"

Obviously the question changed in your head. Carry on...
