I wish people would stop mentioning him with Bradley and saying he would lose, which he will but, Bradley is three years older then him and obviously a lot more experienced and at his peak.
People complain about Khan's competition, but at the age of 23 Floyd had just won a world title and was fighting similar calibre opponents (****** Juuko, Carlos Genena, Carlos Rios). Floyd is clearly the more complete fighter, probably the most gifted of this generation, level of competition aside. However, Khan is a difficult one to predict, when he is concentrating his control of distance and exceptional speed make him a difficult prospect for anyone...but he is prone to lapses of focus, which given his poor chin, make it possible that he will lose to any top level opponent. I think he is capable of thoroughly dominating Malignaggi. People underestimate him due to his KO loss, but I seriously doubt that will happen against Pauli. Khan proved to be more sturdy in his recent outings, though will always be vulnerable against big punchers. I expect his much improved timing (and defense!), in combination with his superior speed, reach and control of distance to make it a fairly wide UD against Malignaggi. The only unknown for me is how much Pauli can disrupt Khan's rhythm, which could potentially nullify all Khan's advantages - Khan has never fought anyone with that particular style, he may find it hard to land, or leave himself open for counters.
Well...get ****ing used to it, Think. The guy's walking around calling himself the 140-pound champion. There are two other champions. Guess what? When focusing on a division, it's only logical to want it sorted out by having the belt holders fight, hence always mentioning them together. So, as long as Khan wants to hold a belt, he will be talked about in the capacity of a H2H match with any other belt holder in that division.
Khan, for me is an unlucky fighter. The reason I say this is due to the fact that he has everything, speed, power, knows how execute his shots well and I believe he is starting to learn how to keep his head, which he can thank Freddie for. However, he is badly let down by his chin, as he really is a prime example of a china chin job, and we all know that you cannot grow muscles on your chin. Consequently, if he had a half decent chin, then I believe Khan could have been a possibility for p4p no 1 in the future, but as he doesn't I think he will be a very good fighter maybe p4p top 10 at points in his career. While, in regards to the Paulie fight, expect Khan to hammer him as I cannot see Paulie being slick enough to get away from his speed, while no matter what anyone says Khan does have very good power for a LWW.
I almost said 1st round, but then I remembered floyd is good at running. 9 minutes should be enough to literally kill floyd with a straight right.
if you consider making people miss and counter them with a four punch combo "running", then i would suggest you watch a bar fight between two drunken idiots. since you like senseless brawling and not the sweet science.
Khan complains that people complain about his race in UK when in fact no-one does. He's an egotistacal kid with a massive sense of self importance and entitlement. In terms of actual fighting ability he has very fast hands but is not entirely accurate and tends to throw punches in bunches in the hope that something connects. He has arguably the worst chin in boxing, total papier mache, and has been stunned and put down by some very light hitting young lads who were considered tomato cans. That said his fights have been undeniably exciting to watch, as much to see if he can avoid getting tagged as well as pull out an exciting stoppage/gift decision/contraversial win/whatever. Personally I can't stand the obnoxious little runt but he has some boxing savvy and is worth watching.
I think Khan will dominate Malignaggi to a clear points victory. Khans too fast and to skillful and will out box him going in and out all night, throwing his punches from all angles. If Hatton out boxed Malignaggi I believe Khan will be much to slick for him.
