A 23 year Floyd would demolish a 23 year old Khan so I don't see what the point you are making - especially when boxers that are over 30 often get a bad rap when pitted against younger fighters, too old, too slow etc. But whatever, i'd wager a 50 year old Floyd would have enough left in the tank to beat any future version of Khan. Literally the quality difference would be like the difference in taste between coke and ****. Obviously you prefer ****!
The guy isn't walking a round calling himself the 140-champion, at least not to my knowledge. If you can find an example where he has claimed to be the man at 140 then I would be happy to hear it.
I have not heard or read it, but like I said, I would be happy to see some example of this. Do you have any links? I couldn't find anything... To be honest I have a feeling it is just assumption by most people that he has said these things, when in reality he probably hasn't.
Hes not calling himself anything. Everybody knows he is not ready for Bradley and those types of fighters, EVERYBODY! Including him, the fight would be pointless at this stage of his career. Although according to Frank Warren the fight was being talked about and almost got made before Khan went to Golden Boy.
...You have a picture of Floyd right next to your name there, do you honestly think anybody is going to look at what you say about him and think its a fair judgement. The first bit was fair enough, Floyd is an amazing talent. But the second part was some obvious ball sucking If I ever saw it.
Same. Its like half of these people just make this **** up. Amir Khan isn't even like that, every time I hear him talk about other fighters he has nothing but respect for them.
Final fight plays fight night round 4 online with his created floyd mayweather, and when he's about to lose he unplugs his ethernet cable and says "i would have won anyway"
He's good. As for how good - we'll find out in the coming years. I think he'll beat Paulie handily though, he has the style advantage. He's even faster than Paulie. As for beating Mayweather, thats pretty unlikely since very few are capable of that.
Exactly. Completely agree with the first bit, nobody really knows just how good he is at this stage. I guess we will find out May 15th.
Who ever GBP put in front of Khan he will fight em, if 18 months time Khan kept winning and Floyd was still around for a big money fight in the U.K then why not. Amir Khan vs Floyd Mayweather Jr in the U.K will do mad numbers, People remember Floyd for his beating of Hatton here and would love to see a fight like that in the U.K
Exactly. There was a conspicuous lack of examples when I called them out on their claims, I wonder why? The problem is that more people that can't be bothered to do their own research will read the posts of people like them and some of them will actually believe this stuff. This forum is complete bull**** at times, it's mostly just hate and misinformation.
