Suddenly Bute is a star on the strength of beating Andrade. Please what am I missing just how good is Andrade?

He is a workhorse with a decent punch and best attribute is his chin slow and one dimensional B level guy any good supermid should handle?

    what am I missing ?

People were acting like Andrade was un-knock-outable like the way the way they would make out Margarito to be some unstoppable iron jawed fighter.

Good win for Bute but his resume is still a bit light weight for a so called world champion.

He had a neat KO but really nothing special especially when you consider Andrade had him out on his feet in the first fight.

The win against Andrade is not cataputing Bute. He was already number 2. Welome back to earth. bute must be important, you're always writing on him.:rofl

Sports writers were puffing up Andrade to say that the winner (Bute, obviously) is truly the best at that weight and makes the Super Six completely irrelevant. There could be some rival network hating on Showtime's Super Six tournament, but really, who would be a hater and have pull with writers?

Well, he was unknockable until Bute found a way to knock him out. you can look back at Kessler-Andrade if you want.

I think it was impactful for two reason. One, bute was coming off a win which many felt was controversial and two in the manner in which he decimated Andrade. He erased all memory of the first fight and we have proof that he is much better or can be much better then what he showed the first fight. Plus he did what at the time no one had done before by knocking him out in the first half of the fight!

Do I think Andrade is Elite, no. I will say he is probably a fighter that can beat most B level fighters and would serve as a barometer of who can hang with the best of the divison. Unfortunately, we can't really see how good this version of Bute is because of the Super Six. Don't get me wrong I love the Super Six, but the best fighters are on it and so we are now left with a Bute that has no real options because of the tourney.

I do feel Bute should be in the tourney the way he performed against Andrade if at least to answer the question of how good is he!

Andrade is for Bute what Miranda is for Pavlik. A nearly man at championship level that looked decent against lesser opposition but always failed at the highest level.

True. No one is the man in that division. Super six participants have the occasion to prove themselves. Bute has to prove himself against top opposition too, which will be tough in the next year. But so far he has earned the right to be considered in the top of the division.

Who is out there for Bute to fight at SMW? Green? Bika 2? Winner of Miranda Steiglezt ? Come on man Bute should have joined the super 6. The best thing is just to move up to LHW.
