How good is Andrade?

    Solid B level. I like the comparison between similar fighters here, Andrade and Margarito.

    Margarito is that little bit better overall.

    He is a decent world level fighter. Rubbish skills and slow but strong with a great chin.

    NFW. Have you actually watched the two fight? Margarito is about a million times more skilled than Andrade.

    Now this I can relate to. I guess this all comes down to what we appreciate in a fighter. Is it technique, heart, chin, reflexes?
    To me a fighter cannot be rated as worldclass without the basic textbook skills. Naaah, I guess I´m as European as they come;)

    Agree but I was talking about style wise same **** man. Pressure fighters with decent power and a great chin.

    Andrade is B to B +

    He might never become a top world class fighter but he is better than just your normal, B level world class fighter.

    Overrated. Only name to fame is getting ****ed up by Kessler, taking 12,391 clean punches in the process and not even getting hurt or tasting the canvas.

    If he were C level, for example, that would make Stieglitz less than that. Stieglitz beat Berrio, which would make Berrio even less than that. Berrio has beaten some people who were better than C level. It doesn't make sense.

    Andrade is at least B level, from what we've seen so far. I suspect he will in time prove better still. I'd be surprised if he doesn't become a B+ at his peak.
