Yeah. And I mean. Masternak tends to be in close fights. Only Drozd who was elite managed to stop him.

Drozd vs Briedis, who would have won?

Dorticos has no Plan B. When he couldn't blast Gassiev and Masternak in the early rounds, he gassed and struggled in both fights. And against Tabiti who is relatively sharp and evasive IMO will do enough to the get the nod.

From where this "Dorticos didn't train for Masternak" come? Is there a reliable source to confirm that angle? I can't believe a guy who is fighting for serious money in a big tournament isn't working properly in the camp before the first fight. They have a team around. And sponsors. Promoters. I can't believe guys on that level aren't working for fights. Of course there are gym rats and there are lazy ****s but still....
Additionally i think Dorticos had the same problems vs. Gassiev. Dorticos is one-dimensional puncher with **** gas tank and conditioning and he's fading more sooner than later, especially after receiving beatdowns like the Gassiev one. Dorticos is definitely not a "normal" 33 yo. He had over 250 amateur fights and is boxing on competitive level for almost two decades.

SHOT might be hard and harsh, but he's definitely fading and we will see that in the Tabiti fight and if he gets past him in the final. I doubt Dorticos wins the whole thing. I am not even sure he beats Tabiti who is pretty lazy but probably fast and sharp enough to outscore Dorticos who will slow down after 7-8 rounds anyway. And i definitely like Dorticos style, in general i like those Cubans like Dorticos, Lara, Ortiz, Gamboa...but i am not sold on Dorticos right now. Tabiti imo is a runner with lazy attitude who doesn't like to fight. So i hope DOrticos blasts him out but tbh i don't see that if the fight goes past 5-6 rounds.

We'll see. Dorticos definitely has some issues with gameplanning but Tabiti really hasn't shown a lot thus far either. Arguably losing to Fayfer is a really bad sign.
