How good is Anthony Joshua in comparison to other British Boxers of the past?

    Witherspoon was flabbier against Bruno than when he fought Thomas, Lewis`s right hand was awful v Bruno, Tyson was dreadful without Rooney. Coetzee wasn`t young enough when he fought Frank and an older Povertkin would have destroyed him. Tillia was past it and not even rated in the top ten when Frank beat him, Parker`s counter jab is far better than McCall`s was, Carl Williams wasn`t a top 10 fighter either when Frank looked unimpressive v him, Takam has a far better chin than Williams had.

    2nd behind Lewis, I wouldn't argue if anyone had Fury ahead of him.

    Talent wise I don't think he's much better than Bruno, robotic and upright but good jab and a big puncher, Frank was just unlucky he was around in an era that was packed with elite HW's if Bruno was in his prime today I suspect he'd beat the same fighters AJ has with the possible exception of Wlad.

    Gifts in a poor era. Bruno turned over early. Would AJ live with Stevenson in 1980? Don't make me laugh. Or Tyrell Biggs in 1984? Highly unlikely, the difference in speed would be silly.
