I have not seen much of Flores, only bits on You Tube. Against limited opposition he looks like he does the basics well and has decent speed and power. I am not entirely sold on Green and dont think anything can be read into his last 3 fights, but do those who have seen a lot of Flores think he can win. Not getting into dodgy decisions purely on skills. How good was he as an amature? Was he in a decent crop of amatures or were his successes based on a weak competition?
theres a video on utube ov him sparring jirov and he staggers jirov and they stop the sparring session and jirov is no bum
I have only really watched him the once, on a Roy Jones undercard I think it was, he looks pretty decent/good, probably a B class fighter, not sure he has the potential to go on to be elite. From what I remember of that fight, if I had to make any criticisms, maybe he is a little flat footed at times, that he might fight with his head high a bit too much, that said, he seems to have power, plus, he seems like a really good guy, I love listing to him on ESPN, he is a great pundit.
He will beat green on sheer size and determination. Remember Green comes in at around 180 lbs for cruiserweight fights.
BJ seems to know his limits and has been brought up very slowly, which is why he avoided the likes of Haye, Adamek, Cunningham, Wlodarczyk and even Ross who were all available during his time. Green is a perfect opponent for him. I would put Flores in my top 6 at the most. Let's hope all this preparation helped him to prepare to fight other elite fighters in this division.
