We will find more out vs Nogueira. Cain really hasnt beat any high level guys he put a whopping on Check Kongo who lets face it is a medicore fighter, no wrestling skills, took the fight on 3 weeks notice and still had Cain hurt badly every time he hit him. The Ben Rothwell fight was impressive but Rothwell is a gatekeeper that the UFC tried to hype into the level of Fedor. Cain can wrestle and his GNP is vicious, his stamina is great and the pace he keeps up is tremendous that said his standup has many wholes and I wanna see what happens when he really is tested.

well considering that cains style is kinda like brocks in some dimensions then no i dont think he can out brock, brock.

and honestly i see brock knocking him out way before i see it going the other way around.

He has no striking abilities , his submissions are a mystery. (he never applied a submission in his entire )...But based on some of his fights (and on the moments and missed ,golden opportunities where could've subbed his opponents but didn't..)...I'm guessing he's not very good in the sub department.

    On the positive side:
    - he can take a hit
    - great stamina
    - good ground control
    - great wrestling
    - great workrate..(he is very active on the ground).

But seems to have average power. He usually tires his opponents. He wins because he he attacks them nonstop and usually has the better positions , control on the ground.

I'd say he's legit but not champion material. Gatekeeper maybe.
(just my personal opinion of course...maybe i'm wrong)

Maybe not. But he could have a chance. Cain isn't Frank Mir. He can wrestle. And he can last longer than both Brock & Mir. (plus he wouldn't have to worry about any jiujitsu or sambo against a guy like brock)

I'm repeating myself here but in the Couture fight. Brock was showing signs of fatigue not to mention , Couture wasn't getting raped , he was even (in some occasions) outpowering lesnar.

I doubt he would've been able to last the distance. The problem is that there's no fighters in ufc's hw division which can put constant pressure (with power , & unreal groundgame)...like a specimen such as Fedor.

The best thing they have over there is a past prime Nogueira. (who's a shadow of his former self)..He's shot. (though he did great in his last fight vs couture but one fight isn't enough to prove that he's "back" ). He almost got koed out cold by Herring (even though he already owned heath twice in his prime)...looked like **** against sylvia and Mir too.

I like the hype but he will probably be a gatekeeper.

No I dont Cain might be on the same level as a wrestler but Brock is bigger and that seems to mean something as thats basically how he wins his fights with a 40 pound weight advantage. Cain is going to struggle for a takedown and be forced to stand and eat to many right hands before being stopped. I dont think it comes to that as I expect Nogueira to finish Cain.

I think he has the best chance against him of all the top contenders due to his wrestling ability

I'm not very impressed by Velasquez at all, to be honest. OK he handled Rothwell with ease, but Rothwell is like Jabba the Hut. Vs Kongo, Velasquez landed literally hundreds of clean shots and couldn't finish the fight. Think of how easily Mir handled Kongo by comparison? Velasquez is an excellent wrestler by heavyweight standards, but when he meets someone who is too big and strong to be manhandled by him (like Lesnar) or someone who is too technically proficient to be dominated on the ground (like Mir) he will be comprehensively defeated. He doesn't have the power to be the heavyweight champion. If prime Big Nog fought Cain, Nog destroys him with ease. Christ knows the outcome with the current version of Nog though, we just don't know how much the great man has left.

Right on the money. Nogueria armlocks Cain before he ever comes close to Brock Lesnar.
