I think he might be a fringe contender to top 12 type.

According to the commentary guy on his most recent fight Plant said: everybody has a plan until they miss their first forty punches.

So far he's been carefully matched and I think he may have had a bit of good luck in his last fight since his opponent had a nagging knee injury.

 

Nice skills.

Lacks a bit of power and explosiveness though.

 

I must buy some investment property in that fins up and coming neighbourhood

 

Plant would probably beat bum ass Junior.

But for real, I don't see any elite talent in him. He'd lose to Benavidez.

Hard not to root for him though, having lost his daughter at 19 months old.

My son is currently 19 months old, and I couldn't even imagine going through that.

 

future world champion. beats truax tomorrow if you put him in.. same with Benavidez.. I think he would school Benavidez and would have him swinging at air for 12 rounds. rameriz would be his biggest test.

 

OH..... Come on! He is another year away from Truax and Benavidez is a whle different animal. he made great adjustments in his Gavril rematch.

 

Benavidez vs. Plant is a fight I'd definitely tune into! Benavidez by utter destruction!!!
