Very good, Calzaghe Dawson would've been close, i'd go for Calzaghe on ring smarts and work rate, though im not a fan..

Chad Dawson is good young fighter and can cause problems for any fighter in the light heavyweight division hes good with combos, and hes great fighting at angles but he tends to get lazy towards the later rounds which can cost him someday but overall hes a great young fighter and the future of the light heavyweight division I would love to see him against Pascal someday

He seems a bit amateurish in his style to me, hits gloves more then any fighter ive ever seen, he just flurries like hes hitting pads or something, looks flashy and then steps away, doesnt really hurt his opponent, probably why he hasn't knocked any one out since stepping up a level.

    Hes china.
    Another overated american bum.
    Protected in his own country.
He needs to fight in europe to gain any respect from me.

One of the top pound for pound fighters if you ask me. His weakness is probably his chin or pressure fighters, but his handspeed, skill and conditioning are impressive. I don't see any current LHW beating him, though a Johnson rematch would answer some questions.

In terms of pure boxing talent, only Paul Williams , PBF and perhaps Bute are equals.
Mentally, though, Dawson has lapses of attention in the ring, tends to fight in spurts and his average chin is also a deficit. All these things, except for the chin, would be a problem against someone as determined as Calzaghe.

He's decent to good. He hasn't fought any good opponents (that's not his fault though) but if he were to fight Calzaghe I think it would be close up around the 5-6th round and then Calzaghe would start taking over.
