How good is Chagaev?

not very good.....overrated by many IMHO.

 

Not as good as the Klitschkos.

 

I think he's a good boxer with good punch output and movement, but not much KO power.

From what I"ve read, he has had offered fights with both K brothers, and Chag and his handlers have refused both fights.

I think Chagaev is very comparable to Sultan Ibragimov, as far as skill (good with alot of speed), power ( or lack of ) and movement (good movement and alot of it).


But I think Haye thrashes Chagaev, as does either K brother. I think Chag is top five, but barely. Even the limited by pretty powerful Peter may well be able to KO him, given that he lacks real KO power with which to keep Peter off him, not to mention that Peter is big enough to manhandle Chagaev.
