AJ reminds me of Bruno. You cannot hold that amount of muscle as a boxer and not tire in the later rounds.
As to beating better opposition he has only done it the once He beat Glas on an injury after looking competent But he took 10 rounds to beat Love and by the end he was flailing on all over the shop. He was F****d so there's no guarantee his stamina is all that. Its an interesting fight.. I just think they are both bolt upright so should be easy to hit and AJ's extra power will tell he also throws faster combinations and has a bit of a reach advantage.
Does't make much sense. If he was on endurance enhancing drugs like EPO, he wouldn't have been tired to start with and then produced a miraculous recovery, unless his water was spiked with amphetamines or something like that.
He's a prospect that stumbled upon a free IBF title. And now he's defending against Britain's hottest HW prospect We can't be sure what's going to happen here. A Joshi KO has the best chance looking at their previous opponents, but it's a big step up for Joshua as well.
Have seen very little of Martin to me he is the fighter with nothing to lose the one thing that jumps out is the low guard he carries especially when he gets in range. I expect Joshua to win by ko but has Martin a live chance certainly. The pressure is on Joshua how he handles that is the key. As for physique my generation of fight fan here in the UK will remember only too well Witherspoon v Bruno.Martin is the underdog tonight but that may work in his favour.
Both are shat and does not deserve to be called the heavy weight championship of the world, bit of a joke really.
Well it is an assumption really. I just don't see how someone with the body type of Joshua can have great endurance. I just think he carries too much muscle but I could be wrong and I generally avoid making assumptions based on body type, it generally means nothing in boxing.
I agree that the IBF heavyweight belt is sort of a sad joke now, but we have to see more of them first to determine if they are sh_t or not.
I think you misread his message. He said he hasn't seen Martin fight, not that he knows jack sh it about boxing
Why does everyone make a big deal about Martin beating Glazkov. Glazkov blew his knee out so we'll never know how that fight would have gone and Glazkov is rubbish himself anyway. He was decent at the amatuer pitter patter style but as pro he needed horrible robberies to draw with bum Malik Scott and beat old cruiserweight Cunningham, two fights he clearly lost.
