I've been saying for awhile that Cintron might have Williams' number. Confidence can be huge for a guy when he can do well in the give and take. This will be a fast paced give and take contest with both men landing big shots. The difference may be Cintron's right which should find a home on Williams. Keep in mind that in both fights with Cintron, Margarito respected his power a lot. Of all the Margarito fights I've seen he was the most careful with Cintron the first time around. He didn't hang out on the end of Cintron's power, he didn't leave himself wide open. He didn't take a lot of chances and fought the perfect fight plan. And who knows? Maybe he was loading his gloves for those fights as well. Just a thought. Williams smashed Matthysse all night. Cintron obliterated the guy with a 1-2. It is pretty evident who hits harder. If Williams gives Cintron too much room this may be over quick. If Williams smothers Cintron (and his own power), it'll turn into an interesting close quarters fight which should favor Williams. It's unorthodox to consider, but the bigger man is definitely more apt to win inside here than outside. That usually isn't Williams' game though.
he also suffers from springy ankle syndrome which unexpecttly causes him to spring up at any second....hope it doesnt bother his career to much
I will say this he is improving more and more. His jab is looking real good and his timing even better.
I've only seen him fight twice. The fight against Martinez was just weird with the phantom head butt. I can't remember most of that fight for some reason. He then outboxed Angulo. Fortunes seem to go way up or way down suddenly in boxing. This fight was really important for him. I hope they reschedule it soon.
