Even in round 12 when Collazo had great success and rallied to land some bombs on Hatton, Hatton still managed to initiate the fight and lead the action. The problem is people only remember Collazo's success and not the rest of the round. I'm still convinced Hatton won the fight by a clear 3 rounds and Collazo was out-hustled. If Berto's workrate is up then he wins against Collazo.
Collazo will get Dazzled by speed tonight, Im sorry lads but Collazo doesn't really impress me, he takes too long to shoot. Speed will Kill tonight...Once he starts tasting a few I dont see him being as effective however I can see Berto being put on the canvas tonight with a flash knockdown but I think he will win and run away with it after about the 7th round.
That says more about Berto than it does Collazo. Berto has flaws that can be exposed. Collazo has the skill to expose Berto's defense, but not enough power to expose Berto's chin. Or at least... it doesnt seem like he does, but anythings possible. We'll see tonight. I'm looking forward to it. I dont care who wins either way, I just hope its a good fight.
Collazo is so underrated by some of you.. He's the type of fighter who rises to the occasion and gets the job done.. He beat Antonio Rivera in his backyard when he was pretty highly regarded at the time.. But when it comes to collazo/berto, i still haven't decided yet.. im just saying, collazo is hella underrated.
don't know how good he is,but he got robbed against hatton. berto should win easily, tko inside 6 rnds.
This is true. Hatton won, if not for the KD he may have lost though, but numerically he won the fight, because he won more rounds.
He is a overall decent fighter but will never be one of the top guys. I would say he is slightly above a gate keeper but that doenst mean much
I agree. I like his style, but he is not aggressive enough to repel someone like Berto or Hatton. Allthough he hurt Hatton he was still bullied for most of the fight, Collazo needs to get out of his envelope more, and let it all hang out. He wont beat Berto unless he mixes it up and fights more aggressively.
Berto's a limited fighter, but Collazo has the mindset of a journeyman. He'll do just enough to lose a close one.
Collazo is boricua and i support him to the end but hope he shows more hunger tonight last couple of performances have been al little dissapointment.
Collazo is underrated on this forum. The reason is probably that 147 is rediculously deep so he gets overshadowed. And for whoever said Joshua Clottey is overrated - you need to watch more boxing because you are a freaking moron.
I think Collazo will be the spoiler tonight. Berto's fast, but a little sloppy. Collazo by disputed SD.
