:deal a shot past it morales nearly 2 years after his fight with maidana went the distance with this fool he struggled with Judah guys like khan beat him easy years before got lucky against lucas (his fans are clinging to this fight still) got his ass handed to him by Herrera he will never amount to anything
He is limited, because he limits himself. Danny, to me, is a classic case of "Falling in love with your own power". After beating Lucas, and even getting Lucas to take a knee, he was riding pretty high on himself I think. Then he took a tune up fight against Mauricio Herrera for his "Homecoming" fight in PR, even though he’s from ****ing Philly. What he didn’t realize is that Herrera is actually a boxer, and not a come forward brawler. Therefore, that made Danny actually think in the ring against a slick fighter. Danny didn’t train for that… He thought he was in for another highlight reel KO. Had Danny properly trained and actually learned how to move a slick boxer to line him up… He woulda beat Herrera. But he didn’t. It’s discouraging to know that there’s someone out there that has your number, especially when he showed it at your "Homecoming" fight.
Good all around fighter, one of the better contenders at 140, proven, but I believe he is still not yet at his peak.
He has room for improvement no doubt, and with his ring iq he can improve. It's the will to improve that is now questionable, he seems to want to live off his past accomplishment's then venture out for new ones. Great post but, Pac is predictable, he is going to throw and throw plenty. So even if he doesn't have a predictable rhythm that Danny can pick up on, he will have tells as to when he is going to throw that Danny will pick up on.
No real flaws. He's a tough kid with good skills, who counters well and takes a punch really well also. The qualities that really stand out are the chin and left hook, obviously. Danny's been discussed quite a bit on this site, so I'm not sure why a thread was required.
He's a guy who boils himself down to JWW to beat on smaller fighters but couldn't even beat Theophane or Herrera. Got lucky against Matthysse and struggled v Judah. Suffice to say, he's not that good.
Enlighten us, please. What does "never amount to anything" mean? Because by my estimates he's already accomplished more than most fighters that ever lace them up. He's probably made more money than most fighters who ever lace them up. Unified titles in his division. Fought on a giant PPV...
very good fighter. i feel alot of people mis construe him and think you can outmuscle him.. i believe a decent boxer would beat him, would love to see him against bradley or maybe even brook because if he could beat either of those guys then he would have me eating my own words. im a fan of him, i feel he copped alot of **** for the salka fight (which dont get me wrong was ****ing terrible) when he had just finished matthyse who everyone swore would beat him and he was scared to face
pretty much the same. i was hoping for matthyse to win but i have to admit garcia beat him fairly convincingly without the use of anything dirty
I thought Garcia looked **** scared at the weigh-in and I lost some money on the fight, but Danny kicked his ****ing ass... No excuses. :yep
