Deontay Wilder is 33-0 (32), how good fighter he really is? I'd rate him like this: Power ***** Speed **** Stamina **** Chin **
There was so much mystery going into the Stiverne fight Can he take a punch? Hows his defense? Can he make adjustments? Can he box or is he just a bomber? Can he go 12 rounds? He answered these questions vs Stiverne and disproved a lot of doubts in this fight but I don't think beating a guy like Stiverne means that much, sure it was for a WBC title but Stiverne is hardly this proven guy or good champion, maybe in the bottom 5 of WBC holders all time at the weight class I was hoping the Stiverne win would prompt his team to continue to fight top 10 guys, this isn't the case, I mean he has been off a while and did hurt his hand but if a top fighter isn't next Id say he deserves ridicule
Better than a lot of people on this site thought he'd be. Still limited of course. Bit too wild at time, which he may pay for against the top guys
He's undefeated which makes him the best ever. He's still a bit crude, but fun to watch and his power and athleticism is top notch. Everyone seems to think his chin is glass, but he's never been stopped yet.
Not that good. Look at his record. Knocked out a bunch of the worst hand-picked stiffs his management could find - some of whom had him on the canvas - and then beat an ailing Bermane Stiverne, who wasn't that good himself. Wilder is a fraud. His "power" is phony, the product of facing a bunch of tomato cans Chris Byrd could KO, and his chin is pure glass, something that will exposed brutally as soon as he faces a top level fighter at the top of his game.
