He's a very dangerous fighter (from a punching standpoint) and he seems to have developed some solid boxing skills (thanks to his trainer Mark Breland - who knows how a tall, lanky boxer/puncher should move). It's still too early to tell, though. Larry Holmes faced virtually no one (except Shavers) before he won the title. And he fought some fairly mediocre guys (Evangelista and Ocasio) before we found out who was against Weaver (who was supposed to be another mediocre guy). And Holmes became an all-time great. Sergei Liakhovich looked very impressive winning the title from Lamon Brewster. But he crashed and burned rather quickly. (He also had a loss before he fought for a title.) If Wilder fights three or four times this year, we'll have a better idea of which direction he's headed. But I was very impressed with his win over Stiverne. I think he's very good. And he hasn't reached his peak yet.
Molina = Alfredo Evangelista, Chuck Wepner, Joe "King" Roman, Manuel Ramos ... who were the first defenses of Holmes, Ali, Foreman and Frazier (in that order).
