Whyte is just being so overated . His footwork is terrible he throws slow sloppy combinations leaving him open to the counter everytime rarely doubles up the jab , he doesn't even seem to cut the ring off very well either and just to easy to hit and his power is quite poor for a heavyweight , I agree he has a good left hook!

Joshua who knows may never fight the same again and will probably become ultra defensive from now on but I think he would beat Whyte again on points.

Fury would make him look like an amateur , would bust him up with the jab at will.

Ruiz to fast would stop Whyte in my opinion in six rounds

Wilder would probably win breazele style within 3 rounds.

I dont rate Whyte as high as most. He is game when fighting I will give him that and that can be enough against poor heavies.
His footwork is atrocious and part of the reason he eats so many shots. As stated above he is very sloppy especially after a couple of rounds and is open to a right hand all night. Chisora hit him with a right about 5 time in a row. This is why I think its crazy people rekon he beats Wilder.

I just don't rate him better than any of the top heavies and I think he knows he isn't good enough and is happy collecting PPV money with one big cash out fight at the end.

Tough guy, he will be difficult to beat but is not unbeatable.

Wilder does him after the odd uncomfortable moment or two.

Whyte is a great boxer who would cause every single heavyweight problems.

In this era he's a contender, nothing more nothing less.

Not very is the short answer. But tbh, i don't think his "talent" is what could get him to the top anyway, it's what he has inside, but i think that will only work against the lesser opponents he's been fighting. If & when he gets to the Fury/AJ/Wilder/Ruiz/Usyk's, he'll lose.

Although of course, no shame i losing to those names, i just think he's better than a lot of what is i the HW division, but not close to good enough for the big names.

The Parker fight was officially a draw since headbutt knockdowns should not count which makes Chisora his best win. Chisora is a high level journeyman who always gets easily beat by lower top 10 ranked guys like Pulev or skilled contenders like Kabayel. Lots of talks about his improvement during the last few years but still need to see more evidence about that so hopefully he will finally stop ducking all the champions.

Write Dillian off at your peril.

I believe a rematch with AJ is 60/40, Joshua is NOT the same fighter since he signed up to VADA testing and Dillian has improved significantly since the first fight.
Usyk - not going to make any predictions until he makes his HW debut.
Wilder - Dangerous fight for both guys, Whyte is easy to hit and Wilder has that right hand but on the flip side Deontay does not have a good chin and Dillian has more than enough power to put Wilder down if he lands (and he will at some point).
Fury - DW would be a big underdog here and if goes head hunting he loses likely every round BUT if DW targets the body and with Fury's physique and history of bad habits out of the ring who knows what could happen.

Takes a punch well, but has too as he gets caught far to easily. Against real power - AJ, Wilder, even the likes of Ortiz, Povetkin, Dubois - I would nt put money on him. Rivas is made for Whyte - come forward fighter, but without a huge punch. Whyte s heart should get him through this one, but as soon as he steps up another level - would worry for him.

I will be reviewing this Rivas character in detail over the next week to see if he is worth backing against whyteleafe.

Whatever the case, the division needs him right now, he gives it something extra, he's a threat and nobody truly knows what would happen if he went in with one of the top dogs now. Whilst I would expect Fury to dance and jab his face off we don't know how Whyte would go about his business, he could make it a real messy affair and use dirty tricks to level things out more, the same goes for if he fights Wilder. The man is an animal who will do anything to win now, as we saw against Parker. I don't necessarily agree with it but he certainly adds something extra to the heavyweight division.

Hard to argue with much of that but I think it’s more his stamina than his chin that’s the issue. He’s done very well given his ability cause he’s got plenty of heart and Eddie has brought him through well.

He's got some good wins, but I don't rate him at all.

To watch, as a purist, he's worse than Froch (and that's saying something!).

And the most annoying thing, to me, is, that he ducks a ton of fights yet screams out he is being avoided!

    Certainly not PPV material anyway.

His fights are quite interesting ...... but his career is getting a bit boring now.
    If that makes sense.

He should have taken the Joshua fight for April just gone.
Now he's just a boring factor in the division, chasing a fight with Wilder that he may never get and stuck working with Matchroom because, frankly, no one else can see the value in him.

    Most fans would rather see Wilder-Fury 2, Wilder-Ruiz, Joshua-Ruiz 2, Fury-Ruiz .... then maybe Joshua-Wilder, Fury-Joshua, Wilder-Joshua 3, Joshua-Ruiz 3 ., Ruiz-Parker 2 even... and maybe see what Usyk can do against them .... than see Whyte against them.

He's been in some good fights but isn't elite level by any stretch of the imagination.

The main thing about him is that its his own fault he's not had the big fights with Wilder / Joshua(2). Wilder is now rematching Ortiz, who was very keen to fight Whyte in order for the next shot. But Whyte, who rightly or wrongly was denied mandatory status, refused the fight outright.

Same with the Joshua fight. Could have boxed in front of 90,000 people at Wembley this April, guaranteed never-work-in-your-life-again money, but priced himself out. Idiot.
