The weight had nothing to do with it. Hernandez showed his class vs a 22 yr old Hoya who used him as a stepping stone. Not too unlike Mayweather except Hernandez was at the end of his career blaming a horrible time making weight as his reason for losing and being diagnosed with career ending blood clot and cartilage complications 2 months after the bout, and then Cancer.

Yes, the weight had nothing to do with it. The fact that this fight vs de la hoya was the only fight Hernández ever fought at this weight.... is just a coincidence.

The clots diagnosed months AFTER the fight was the reason.. right? yes. It must be that.

It was probably also a coincidence De La Hoya was the best guy he'd fought.

Yes. 2 months after. Hernandez said it himself. Blood clot, vision issues, retired.

Greb is a top 5 atg. I'm quite aware of that he's greater than pbf. The poster was trying to downplay and hate on pbf. He's the ignorant one.

Just a few guy like 6-7who will be in the hall of fame! He didn't fight them when they were at their peak though. The Canelo win really had legs to it. Its a strong resume to what I consider a top 5-10 all time light weight, jr welter and welter weight.

By YOUR own standards you'd be discrediting Floyd for "dragging" JMM up 2 divs., Draining Canelo @152, waiting for Pac to get old, never fighting an elite in their prime. etc, etc, you get the point.

You're clearly judging Floyd by different standards, thereby proving my original point.

 you do realize that you can't retroactively try to apply current standard to past times??? There's more belts available, and has been for the past 15 years. Broner...Tank....Gatti...Mayorga...ALL had more belts than Hagler. Guess they're greater, right?

None of these guys seem to get that. Multi weight champ today means little compared to the past.

Still waiting for the name of the guy who did the same. I didnt ask for excuses, I asked for the name of a guy doing the same. Floyd is already retired, plenty of fighters with the same rules and number of belts.

    Obviously.

No. I never said dragging JMM 2 divs up is good. Did I? no, I didnt. JMM is just one name in 23 world champions. To take full credit from JMM you need to defeat him at his natural weight. The same I said before applies for this too.

BS. I'm so tired of that Greb nuthugging. No-****ing-body has ever watched this guy fighing. NOBODY. We only have what newspapers wrote here and there. Not a single proof.

I dont believe in fairy tales, man. All that Harry Greb BS is nothing but an urban legend.. "but, but, but he won to this and that" (nobody freaking watched this and that either). It's very easy to say "the best ever" when there is not a single fight to prove that it is right or wrong.

Specially a fighter fighting in an era where fighters were total crap with hardly a professional aproarch. Ridiculous.

Another unpopular opinion, I give zero ****s about harry greb.

Because everybody rates him, nevertheless nobody has watched him fighting. In my mind that makes no sense at all. How the F can anyone rate a fighter whom has never watched him fighting? (sorry for the grammar here if it's wrong, well, you understand what I mean, I hope)

I can only give my opinion, if I rate or not a fighter. How can I rate a fighter I've never watched??? ridiculous. And it is so ridiculous that it annoys me. That's why I rant. :nusenuse:
