i've seen him fight a few times and he is a terrific little counter puncher, which makes it even more annoyin that he won't be at the olympics because he has the perfect style for the that scoring system, but will he make it as a pro?
I hope the one thing to come out of this is he is so disillusioned he turns pro. Might be selfish, but I don't tend to pay much attention to amateurs and want to see him as a pro.
yea, but im just saying.. he MIGHT be in a **** division, dont think he would have beat kindelan to the gold..... or even khan if khan was fighting for a different country.. but i could say that about khan, he wouldnt win gold if mayweather was fighting..... dont mean ****
umm he didn't win gold anyway. so are you saying he also wouldn't have won gold if an even better fighter was in his weight division at the olympics? good point ! :!:
nah he was favourite to win gold coz he beat all his main rivals in chicago.. he asked how good is frankie gavin, i said he could be in a **** division.. and might be getting overrated??? i dont think he would have beat khan or kindelan, thats all im saying... :hi:
he was beaten easily by kindelan about 3 and a half yrs ago now. he was dropped in that fight (can't remember if it was once or twice). khan would have beaten him. he's obviously a good talent though. he was only 19 when he boxed kindelan. he's improved since then. shame he's not at the olympics. he should go pro in my opinion. :bbb
he will go pro. he is good, but apparently his style is not entertaining like Khans, hes also not a very big puncher.
He is a counter punching southpaw - can be a bit cagey which won't sell well. Khan sells because he has the vulnerability factor, kill or be killed seems to be the way.
