How good is Freddie Roach on teaching defense?

    Also how is he on teaching his fighters about fighting in the pocket? You know like some trainers put emphasis more on one area than others.
    Like Emanuel Steward is strict about the jab and outfighting but most of his fighters dont seem to know much about infighting like Wlad and Cintron.
    Mayweather Sr preaches defense and a stiff jab as well. Roger Mayweather is more about offense and so on.
    I was just wondering what kind of attributes does Roach have?

    I have been at Wildcard for a few years, to be totally honest with you Freddys style is more of in fighting, catching and countering as well, in other words he teachs you how to fight.
    I cant say what its like with other big trainers in the sport, but as far as I am concernd Roach taught me how to fight like a man win some lose some
