How good is Humberto Soto? I say he beats Matthysse no problem.

Why isn't this the main event? Ortiz is fighting a decent guy but he's a no-name.

I think Matthysse will stop him but this a great fight and by far the best on the card. Matthysse is too big and strong for Soto

I have the utmost respect for Humberto Soto, he is like today's Marvin Hagler in the sense of being avoided by top fighters. However, I don't see him beating LM. Soto's power is **** above 130 pounds and although Soto has good boxing skills, I don't see him using movement to avoid getting clipped by LM. Soto will stand in the pocket and trade which will be his downfall.

LM is a big 140 pounder withl real power, I think this is a bad matchup for Soto's first fight at 140 pounds.

Lucas a bigger, stronger version of Soto. It doesnt look good for Soto who mostly comes up short in important fights. Would rather he rematch Guzman. Soto should of stayed at 130-135.

Agreed. He will have to do a lot of moving. But i think he can outbox the **** out of Matthyse, hes got the skills, speed and stamina to do it.

Anybody else ask themself 'why is Soto brawling with the guy?' He stuck in the pocket way too long. He could have done better boxing and moving more but Matthysse just had no respect for Soto's power. Amazing body work as well. He usually head hunts a lot more but Soto was always right in front of him. Terrific performance by Matthysse

Mathysse too strong. Soto should just pick 130 pound boxers. Not 140 boxers they are too strong for him.

Matthysse could easily be undefeated. I thought he beat Alexander and some feel he beat Judah (I had Judah eking out the win by a **** hair).

Hopefully he gets a shot against Khan.

Soto was doing his thing... Just Matthysse was too strong.
I hope Humberto can still make 135lbs.
